Attributing images

This week in Te Ngahere we have been learning about Attributing images today I learnt how to get the License type, Author name and the Image title from a image. I can use this in the future so I will know if I can use the picture or not. We had to type up a image then you would have to click on to tools then there should be a button that says usage rights then you would click on to Creative Commons licenses. Then you click on to the image you want. Then you should click visit and you look for the License type, Author name and the Image title. Have you done this before?

Long Building Not

 This week in Te Ngahere we have been learning about the marble run. It was fun we also had to make a ramp and we had to grab a measuring tape we needed the marble to land on 110 cm. We have to grab a marble and when you are done with the ramp you can put the marble where it needs to be. Then you need it to be exactly on 110 cm my group was the last one to get tested my group got 17 points I thought that we were going to get less points.

Back At School

 The first day of school we did a reading test. We got the reading test from Whaea Becks. Whaea Becks gave us the reading test and we had 4 minutes. We got the paper then we started the reading test and we had to read it carefully so what I did was I read the first question but I did not read it carefully. when I was doing the questions I did what the questions said in order.  Why my class did was to learn how to read things carefully. I did not read it carefully, this is what it said: “Read everything carefully before doing anything” the last instruction Sid this Now that you have finished reading everything carefully, do only sentences one and two! Then draw quietly on the back of this paper while you wait for everyone else to finish! And I did not read it all and I did not read it all carefully.

 This week in Te Ngahere we have been learning about Roy Lichtenstein. He’s was a famous artist about 50 or 60 years ago. We had to draw a photo of yourself and it was based on Ben Day Dots. 

I found out that Roy Lichtenstein was born in New York in 1923.

The Small Tsunami.

 On Friday Bay of Island had a Tsunami some people did not know what was happening and we had to walk up the hill and when we went up the hill I was tired walking up we had no food for 1 or 2 hours but we had water. because some nice people grabbed our School bags and we were happy that we got our bags the Tsunami was not big that I thought it was. It was the first time I have had a Tsunami it was not a drill. Then me and Shay went down the hill with Mrs Lindsay me and Shay nearly forgot Kyle so I ran back up the hill to get Kyle and then we went home with mum and dad.

Cross Country

 What You Need To Know About Cross Country

On September 25th Paihia school did Cross Country at Bledisloe. First we ran around the field. Then we jumped over a gate and we went up the hill. After we went down the hill to the finish line.After the race I

felt tired.

 In Te Maunga we have been learning about filming. I know how to zoom in and out with the iPad and we used green screen.

kawa of care.

 In Te Maunga we have been doing our kawa of care. I learnt that you can not put the chromebook half off the table, it will fall off of the table and the chromebook would be broken.

We were learning about time in our groups and I learnt about the minute hand and the hour hand and I also learnt that there are 365 days in a year.

Cross Country

We went to the start and I ran as  fast as I can and we ran at Bledisloe and I got faster and we had to run around the field to jump the fence and go up the hill and come back down the hill
